Key adaptations
Their horns are used for protection, fighting, and also for sexual display. Goats are ruminants, so have a four-chambered stomach. Their eyes are horizontal and slit shaped, allowing them to see 320 degrees around their head and having no blind spot in front of them
Social organisation and mating system
Females usually live in small, same sex herds.
