Females are attracted to males with the best territories and the males that have built the greatest number of quality nests (up to 12!). Those top quality males breed polygynously as they get a lot of female attention.

Did you know that...?

Male Wrens have one of the loudest songs, especially when you consider how small they are! If it was the same size as a rooster, it would be ten times as loud as a normal rooster.
