Diet and foraging method

Golden moles have incredible acute hearing which they use to pinpoint the exact location of their prey. They then emerge from below their prey to catch their meal.

Key adaptations 

Golden Moles have small but powerful limbs with extremely broad, long, and hollowed out underneath claws that help them dig through the sand. They also have webbed hind feet to further help when digging.

They live underground so have lost their ability to see, a layer of skin now covers their eyes.
