Plumage colours provide excellent camouflage in woodlands and also in flight, as their white belly and darker top provides camouflage from above and below.

Did you know that...?

Willow warblers can fly up to 100km a day; that's a long way for a small bird to fly! They endure these long-haul flights to complete their migration from Europe to Sub-Saharan Africa as quickly as possible.
